Pharmaceutical Craps

I asked a doctor once if there was a computer program that could be loaded with your medical history and would improve the accuracy of the medicine he prescribes. He answered “no” and when asked how they avoid complications he answered sarcastically “It’s simple, we give you a pill and if you don’t turn green, we give you another pill”.

Kind of like the game of craps isn’t it?
