Bible Thumping

The phrase “Bible Thumping” connotes an evangelical approach to converting the “un-saved” which could be considered an act of kindness. Viewed from the position of an unwilling recipient of the treatment, it is more like the image shown. Is this evangelical approach warranted? Is it an invasion of privacy and an insult to the subject’s beliefs and intellect or is it a desperate, yet kind, act of redemption?

Sometimes good masquerades as evil; sometimes, the reverse is true.
