Adam of the 20th Century

This image is of my Father in his 82nd year.

It was made possible only by the intervention of medical science, which repaired an ailing heart and healed a biliary ailment that would have been fatal.

The Iconic scars left behind stand in praise of the science and skill that gave him many more years of enjoyable life not available to his un-scarred and hence un-repaired ancestors.

If we do not get the health care crisis under control, miracles like these will become economically impossible for the average man and all 21st century Adams, except those with extreme wealth, will be banished from the garden so to speak.
